In today’s digital world, people rely heavily on social media, particularly platforms like Instagram, for information and recommendations. This is especially true for younger generations who use personal accounts to share experiences and favorite spots, unintentionally promoting businesses they enjoy. Swayze, however, identified a key gap in this dynamic: users promote businesses for free, receiving nothing in return.
That’s where Swayze comes in. The app empowers “nano-influencers”—individuals with at least 250 followers—to receive discounts and deals at restaurants in exchange for sharing about their experiences on their Instagram Stories. By tapping into the power of authentic engagement and trust built by these everyday influencers, Swayze provides businesses with organic promotion directly from their own clientele, all for the cost of a discount.
Recently launched in Poland, Swayze founded by Phi Long Bui, an Asian entrepreneur based in Poland, and his friends. The app has already seen remarkable success, winning the People’s Choice award from the AceOn accelerator and soaring to the #3 spot in the App Store rankings in Poland. Attracting over 20,000 nano-influencers, Swayze’s partner network now includes nearly 50 businesses. Driven by user demand, the platform has expanded beyond restaurants to encompass other popular options like nail salons, horse riding, gaming cafes, massages, etc. — all united by the opportunity for users to earn rewards by simply sharing a picture.
Currently available in four cities, Swayze is poised for continued growth and expansion to new regions. Stay tuned for an upcoming interview with Phi Long Bui to learn more about this exciting new platform.
